It’s so nice to be back in sessions again! I had a lovely break to enjoy my sweet family and now I am excited to get behind the lens again! To start off the new year, here is my first session of 2012, and what a sweet one it was! Meet baby Aliyah, we caught the beautiful morning light and she shined like the sweet princess she is! I photographed big brother when he was just a few days old, so it’s always fun coming back to photograph another sibling. Congrats again P family, she is beautiful!
Just wanted to give you all a heads up for those interested in booking a SPRING 2012 session with me, I will be putting up my Spring Feb-May calendar tomorrow!! I will also be taking due dates for those wanting newborn sessions Jan-May, I currently only have a few due date openings left per month, so contact me asap if you are interested! My calendar will be posted directly off my blog, I will also post on facebook after it is up.

Now on to the sweet stuff. Who say’s you can’t play dress up with your baby girl?
I had a wee bit of fun with her this month, especially since she is now confidently sitting up. Makes for a happy baby and a convenient picture pose too! Words can’t express how much happiness this little one has brought into our family! We continue to adore her more and more every day. :) We also got to include her cousin, (some of you may recall me telling you the story of my sister having her baby in her car 38 hours before Lyla was born?) meet Miss Brooklyn. We were so happy to finally get these two together. Aren’t they the sweetest?

Well, I have been MIA pretty much this whole month.. but things are dying down a bit so I will try my best and play a little catch up. First off, my gorgeous sister Kim, got married! We are all so happy for her, and really no one deserves happiness as much as these two.. and their three sons. I wasn’t the photographer for the wedding (I’m clearly NOT a wedding photographer), but had fun when the actual photographer let me tag along with my camera sneaking in shots here and there!
Here are a few from the BEYOND freezing day. My sister gets props.. I’m pretty sure all of her limbs were not movable after this session due to frostbite.
However, the sun was out.. and it was a beautiful winter day in Portland with zero rain drops coming from the sky. That was all we could ask for.
Wasn’t she just a beautiful bride? I think so.
